I saw this idea on Pinterest awhile ago and since we are still a bit under the weather today, it seems like the perfect quiet time project to indulge in.
We divided the paper plate into four sections and I cut out some shapes for three of the types of weather that we chose to represent (sunny, rainy and snowy) and then we used cotton fluff for cloudy. We used glitter pens to add some snazziness to the cutouts before gluing them onto the plates. We then punched a hole in them and threaded some yarn through so that we could hang them from the fridge.
At the moment both StarBear and SpaceFox are looking out the window waiting for the weather to change so they can modify their plates. Good thing clouds are in the forecast for tomorrow and rain on Wednesday?
